Erich Obermayr
Obermayr supports additional gun control laws
Obermayr supports abortion access and supports Question 6 elevating abortion access to the Nevada State Constitution
Obermayr support open primary elections
Obermayr serves on the Silver City Regional Citizens Advisory Board for Lyon County
From Obermayr's website:
"Like many Americans, the elections of 2016 and the Trump Presidency jolted me into action. I began taking an active role in our local Democratic Party. I joined the Comstock Democratic Club, participated in the County Central Committee, wrote articles and letters, and helped with the Party’s many public events. I also worked with several local campaigns, making phone calls, going door to door, and helping develop issues and messaging. As 2024 approached, I realized it was time to take the fight for the causes and principles I believed in to the next level."
"We are in a critical moment in our nation’s history. Our democratic republic is threatened by those who would replace it with authoritarian, strong man rule. It is a historic time, and you better believe our children and grandchildren, not to mention historians, will ultimately call us to account. They will ask, “What did you do?” when our system of government and way of life hung in the balance."
